We have seen how powerful Jesus is. He can cure diseases. He can do it instantly. He can do it by voice, by touch, by not even being aware of it. He can even do it without being there.
But surely there is a limit. Stopping a disease growing is one thing, but what about when that disease has taken its full toll? What about death?
Death is the big enemy. Once someone dies, there’s no coming back. Doctors can try their best to heal someone. Cures can be found for many ailments. But there are some things that are incurable. When that happens, it is game over.
As you can see from this graph, yes modern medicine has helped. But the reality is that death will come soon. We are just pushing it back about 10 years.
So, what about Jesus then? This would be the ultimate test.
Can Jesus take on death head first?
Or will death beat him?
We know that Jesus is the upside down king with upside down power. Could he do this? It leaves us with this important question?
